NAME: "Opportunity Knocks " MEANING: This painting is considered as a symbol of good luck or good fortune, it is suitable for the living room or office, and it has the meaning of wealth and happiness. It's suitable for business occasion or personal birthday gifts. This painting is done in Chinese traditional techniques with various of tones of ink. It' s 100% handmade. About artist: Lu Ye, born in 1961, Linzi, Shandong. He is now a first-class calligrapher and painter of the Chinese Academy of Painting, a lifelong honorary professor of the Chinese Calligraphy and Artists Art Creation Center, a director (researcher) of the North China Association of World Calligraphers and Painters, and a permanent senior calligrapher and painter of the International Xizhi Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. Since childhood, he loved calligraphy and painting. He is good at Chinese flower and bird painting and landscape painting. He has spent all life learning and researching the ancient artworks from Wang Xizhi, Yan Zhenqing, Qi Baishi, Zhang Daqian and so on. On the basis of inheriting the tradition of Chinese calligraphy and painting, his artwork integrates contemporary life and makes its calligraphy and paintings unique. His works have been compiled into "The Crown of the Orient, Works of the National Exhibition of Calligraphy and Fine Arts" and "International Dictionary of Hard-pen Calligraphers". He has awarded the honorary title of "Chinese painting and calligraphy master" and "world artist title". He published a monograph on calligraphy and painting, such as Yan Shuzhi's hard pen calligraphy collection.
